I'm working on my blog, trying to transform it into a website. What is the best host-site for this?

A frequently-asked query:

The blog is on wordpress.com, but I could use something that allows ads.

    http://yola.com
    or
    http://www.viviti.com/
    or
    http://100webspace.com
would probably do it. I don’t know whether you would make any money off of the banner ads for 100webspace or not.

that’s if you want free places. yola is the best inexpensive place to go for professional looking sites ($349.95 for design, $49.95/year) if you want to spend the money.

You could Google "free web hosting" and see what comes up. There are many sites that offer hosting, no forced ads, yet allow you to place your own ads. The problem with free hosting is that every one of them seems to go down from time to time, and you can’t really complain because it’s free. hostcell.net has been ok for me, but I’ve only been on it 2 months, so can’t give an uncategorical recommendation.
