Do following steps
1- Create a sub-domain from your hosting control panel
2- Download WordPress software from http://wordpress.org/
3- Create a database in MySQL database, and grant access to a user to this database.
4- Follow instruction in you downloaded package.
It is quite possible but that means you will have to make it a subdomain on your main site and rename it to whatever you like. E.g yoursite . com/blog
Go to cpanel in your webhost admin area and click on Fantastico then follow the instructions.
