What is the best option for a personal portfolio website?

I am creating a website to showcase my artwork, photography, and flash games that I’ve made. If possible I’d also like to add a blog onto it for news and updates about my work.

I’ve built a pretty decent website with iWeb, and it will probably work fine, but I’m not sure if there is a better option. Everything is just getting so complicated and cluttered. I don’t know HTML and I’m too busy to learn how to make anything too good with it. I don’t have Dreamweaver and I don’t want to pay for it.
I’ve heard good things about WordPress, but does it only work for blogs? Is there some easy "miracle" solution to make a good website (I’m guessing not, but who knows)?

WordPress is a popular choice for creating websites. Although it started out as blogging software, these days you can create pretty much any type of site you want with it. In your case, you could create separate pages for your artwork and photography, and have separate blog pages as well.
WordPress is easy to navigate and organize, and in my opinion, just a pleasure to use. All of my sites run on it, and of course it is free.
There are several gallery type plug-ins for WordPress that you can use to show off your artwork. A popular one is NextGen Gallery: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/nextgen-gallery/.
With all of the themes available, you should have no problem creating a site that pleases you and your visitors.
