I recommend hostgator.com … sign on for their "hatchling" plan for 3 years (use the discount code that is ALWAYS shown on their home page) and get $4.95 per month. They’ll give you WordPress. Great company.

Also, for OTHER recommendations, see techie "consumer reports" at http://www.webhostingtalk.com

Start with a free one at http://wordpress.com/ and tweek it until you outgrow it.

This will give you time to find a good host. I like ICDSoft waaay better and there are many many choices, as I have no doubt you will hear, from lots of folks.

    http://www.bluehost.com hands down.
See what WordPress has to say about them:
    http://wordpress.org/hosting/
I have several clients hosted there. Their hosting is flawless, it costs $6.95/month and their 24 hour support can’t be beat.

I usually do complicated websites that all require high-ended SEO so I need their support and solid hosting. I don’t even waste my time anywhere else.

I also use blueHost with all my sites. They use Simple Scripts for installing WordPress which makes it very easy to do, WordPress can be installed in just a few minutes.

For the price they charge you get a lot included, check them out.

Below there is a link to a blog with free info on setting up a WordPress Blog with some info on using BlueHost.

You can try GoDaddy as they are reliable. http://www.webhostingbreak.com/godaddy/. You may also try Fatcow or Just Host if you are looking for more economic options.
