4. Or shall I convert to blogger instead of wordpress, since blogger converts all blogs to static pages.

    1. Yes, a slow loading site may have more difficulty getting indexed because search engine spiders can be just as impatient as your human visitors. If a page doesn’t load quickly enough, the spider will move on.

    2. Yes, dynamic PHP sites (like WordPress-powered sites) are somewhat slower than static sites, but if you’re using a good Web host, the difference should be imperceptible.

    3. No, don’t bother converting to static pages. Some of the most popular sites on the net use a WordPress backend, and not only are they fast-loading, but they have no trouble getting indexed daily. You need a) a good Web host, and b) a WordPress cache management plugin to reduce server load by storing static copies of your pages. I like WP-Cache:

    4. Avoid blogger – WordPress offers so much more functionality.

    5. I have been using Web hosts for ten years, and my favorite by far is Dreamhost due to their affordable prices, superior support and huge selection of free tools. They offer one-click installations and upgrades of WordPress, which makes them great for blog hosting. They had some growing pains a while back which forced them to upgrade their facilities, and now they are super reliable. Check them out at:

I hope this helps, and definitely check out the WP-Cache plugin for WordPress!
