Ive done the whole website design via systems where you drag and drop what you want, or say what colours you want it etc etc – the easy building systems many hosts offer but i want to do it from scratch.
I want to develop a website – multiple pages with no easy-use builders etc – its not for business or required urgently but just for fun and to show i can do it.can anyone provide the names of software/tools/information i would require to look into doing this?
I have began purchasing programs/books to learn into C+ and Java but i will be beginning this tonight…

All you need to create a website from scratch is a text editor and knowledge of HTML. Languages like C++ and Java among many others can be used to create dynamic websites but they only output the HTML, CSS and JavaScript that the browser uses to render the web page.
