Website Builder!? Easy to use?

Question:

Im trying to create a website for my restaurant. However, I don’t know how to create it. I already have my own domain and a host to host my website. However, how do I create a website? There are many templates (even flash) that I would like to use but I don’t know how to use it. They are in .css file and when I open it with Dreamweaver cs4, it shows me all these codes or letters, etc. I want to use a program that allows me to simply "drag n drop" or "point n click". Is there a program that’s good? (Preferably free!??) It doesn’t HAVE to be a Flash builder. I just want a easy to use website builder that allows me to use templates and publish it directly to my website.
This is a MUST! I found several nice builder but the thing is….they’re all gonna be published on theyre own domain..For example, like www.mydomain.bluehost.com.
I want to be able to use my own domain like www.myowndomain.com not they’re domain.

    Hello There,

There is a good "what you see is what you get" html editor called Komposer.
That is what I use for three websites.

If you have ever used a publishing program (like Microsoft Publisher) you will be able to make a website in very much the same way.

It will take a little practice using it but the more you practice the better your results. It’s actually fun and not too difficult to make your own site.

Also Kompozer has very good help files and their web site has instructions for using it.

You will also need an FTP client. A good one is Core FTP Light. It is also free and works very well.

All you need know to connect and upload your page(s) is the URL of your website, your username and password.
You get that info from your website host.

I hope this helps you make your site. Below are links for Kompozer and Core FTP lite. Also there is a link for my homepage that I made using Kompozer.

The easiest website builder on the market is http://doodlekit.com. It doesn’t require you to know any code at all. The free version forces you to use a Doodelkit sub-domain, but if you upgrade, you can use the domain you purchased to point to your Doodlekit website. You can even transfer it to them and they will re-purchase for you each year for no additional charge (domain purchases are included in your membership fees). They start at $14 a month. Here is an example restaurant website made with Doodlekit:
