You can add anything legal to it on any host. (You can’t advertise slaves, murder for hire, child porn, etc. But you can advertise any number of socially unacceptable, but legal, things. The hosting company isn’t supposed to decide what you can have on your site. In the US it would probably illegal or actionable if they tried.)

    Webs.com

If you do it in html, there will be no problem adding adds.

    just copy and paste

    <!– Hide Freewebs Add –>
    <noscript></noscript><!– –><script type="text/javascript" src=""></script><script language="JavaScript" src="http://magicdonkey.webs.com/score.js">

into the bottom of the source to hide the add from the host site

Any will allow it, just depends on how much you want to spend$$$$$$$$$$$$$
You need a Domain Name and the Web Hosting and the Software to do it.
I use Yahoo for it all.

It doesn’t matter which web hosting you are using, but you can put any ads in a selfhosted wordpress unless those ads are not appropriate (wares, porns, etc)

I recommend going with Chime Host – http://www.chimehost.com/web-hosting/ because they support php/mysql which is required for wordpress and also they offer auto installer that will install wordpress for your with few clicks. As for ads, wordpress has a widget system where you can put html codes that will easily show your ads. WordPress also has tons of plugins that will let you publish banners on your website including adsense ads.

    1. Sign up with one of the recommended web hosts at http://buywebspacetoday.com/
    2. Go to your control panel and look for Fantastico or another application installer. Use this tool for a one-click install of WordPress.
    3. Integrate your advertising with WordPress. The exact implementation depends on your ad provider. You can usually add HTML code (given by your ad provider) in the widget area or sidebar. Or you could easily install a WordPress plug-in that does the integration for you.
