I used yahoo merchant host and host gator, both are complicated to use. problem with yahoo: difficult to organize merchant upload. It really depends on how much you are planning to spend and what you mean by "complicated." Running a site with a merchant account is going to be complicated and unless you plan on going through a separate site like Amazon or eBay, there is no way it is going to be as easy is updating a MySpace. I would recommend LunarPages though. Their e-mail support is very good if you run into problems and you can just call them and they will help you set up your site. If you have issues after the set-up, they also have a forum where you can ask questions to their staff and also other users who may have already gone through what you have.

You should avoid hosts that offer "unlimited" space/bandwidth as this is somewhat of a scam. You should also avoid hosts that offer ridiculous amounts of space/bandwidth, such as 10GB space for only $5/month. Hosts like this overload and oversell servers, and are bad news for anyone who wants reliability.
