I would avoid their hosting, I know it’s probably too late now, but if I were you I’d seriously consider changing hosting providers. domain.com is a domain name supplier and not really a hosting service.

If you had http://www.hostmonsterplus.com hosting, you could install the forums just by clicking a button and entering a password, name and a few very easy details.

http://www.hostmonsterplus.com is best for both price and quality.
These are just some of my reasons:
It comes with built in Site builders and a range of CMS’s.
It supports PHP, MySQL, and almost anything you’ll need.
It comes with a free domain name… ex: whateveryouwant.com
It has unlimited storage and bandwidth.
You can also add an unlimited amount of domain names.
So with one account you can have many different .com websites. I have about 14 right now all on one account.
Only $3.95 per month. (£29 Per Year)
They also give you free $50 Google Credits for advertising your site.

I’ve been using them for 4 years and I’ll give them my thumbs up.

Best of luck whatever decision you make.
