Good Web Hosting?

A frequently-asked query:

I want a good web hosting service. I want a website builder on this too. I need an FTP server. I also need a visual editor. I would like to have it require as little HTML as possible. I will be thrilled if none is required.
I’ve been using Bravenet. It’s alright. I had the premium service. It just wasn’t very easy to manage, and it had their application logos everywhere. I want no host logos whatsoever. I want to be able to get a cheap domain name with this service. I would like it free, but I’m willing to spend a little dough if necessary. Tried Bravenet, I want something somewhat similar. THANKS!!!!!

    Hi Q,
My favorite is the Yahoo webhosting service. They offer a website builder that is very easy to use. It is very reliable, gives you lots of space, up to 200 email addresses, and many more features. It is good quality. They charge US$11.95 per month.

    Best wishes,

    Agua

    Yahoo! all the way.

I own a marketing and design firm and have built many web sites over the years. I advise every client to use Yahoo!.I have tried others and through experience I have found Yahoo! to have the best value, services, and support around.

    Good luck!

P.S. Whatever you do, do NOT use GoDaddy. They are extremely unprofessional and have many pending lawsuits.

Recommend you take a look at Microsoft Office Live Small Business, a free service – http://tinyurl.com/officelive . It has a free design tool that allows you to create web pages without coding. It has no ads and has 500mb of web space. MS is giving a free domain name for the 1st year. Can also upload your own website if you have one.

The best way to buy a domain for free is to purchase your domain and webhosting together. In this way it is possible to get your domain for free. Some webhosting companies offer this as a gift ….bluehost webhosting is the best one
