Can anyone recommend a good web host for a small business website?

Question: I intend to create a Word-press site for my small business and I need hosting. What sort of things should I be looking out for – some of these offers seem too good to be true like £2 per month and unlimited space and broadband. I notice some mention spam guard and others don’t – how does this work?
Thanks
A

Answer: Based on your business hosting question, here is our suggestion. If you are looking for a business hosting or even the best domain host, your best option is to go with Hostgator. Well, they are not totally free – you have to pay $0.01 (by entering the coupon code below at checkout). This coupon code is usable for any shared hosting and even the $24.95 Aluminum reseller hosting. We suggest you do not waste your time with any other unreliable business hosting.

If you are not only looking for a business hosting, but also a good cheap hosting, we suggest you try MyHosting. It is hard to find any negative MyHosting review so we believe they are the best because they give unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage, unlimited addon domains, Site builder and much more for such a low monthly price. You can get MyHosting for only $4.84/month.

Do you have more suggestion? Do you disagree with us? Please leave your comment in the box below.

I recommend one of these: http://www.top3hosts.com

iPage has the best offer right now.
Their standard price is £59.40/year (£4.95) but they have
a promotion currently, one year of hosting for £23.88.

    Their plan includes:

    Unlimited disk space
    Unlimited bandwidth
    Free domain name

    Price: £23.88/year (£1.99)

They have one of the most popular hosting platforms, which currently hosts over a million websites. They’re also one of the oldest hosting companies, founded in 1998.

They include a free point & click online site builder so you can create a website without any programming (easily, just by drag and drop) or you could install WordPress (they include easy, one click install from their control panel), choose a theme that you like, and start adding content.

They also have a great custom control panel with OneClick installs of all the popular software like WordPress, Joomla, Forums, Chat, Galleries, Online stores and a lot more.

P.S. You don’t need spam guard. I recommend you to get Google Apps for your domain http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/group/index.html It’s free and you can set up your emails (up to 50 email accounts for free) through them. Basically you get gmail but with your own domain name.

Once I set up my server, I will be willing to host your website for $3 a month (2 pounds). If you are not interested, I think that the best thing to look for in hosting is the quality of their website. "Unlimited hosting" is just and advertising technique. Your website will only take around 20 megabytes of space anyhow. You do want a secure host that provides good services and support. If you are interested in hosting with me, please contact me at sethweeks@ymail.com.

Maybe your Internet Service Provider provides this for free with your account. Check there first. 1 And 1 is like the number 1 rated web host for businesses.

    I’m currently using justhost.com, siteground.com and ausweb.com.au.

My preferred host is siteground so far – their customer support is just outstanding in all regards. JustHost are a bit cheaper in the long term, and ausweb’s interface just sucks.

Don’t trust dishonest claims like "Best web hosting only $2 /month" or "Get the cheapest web hosting without sacrificing quality and features!!". Take into consideration that some hosting companies are cheating and lying to their customers. It is very important that your service be uptime (functioning and available for use) . It means you can access your account whenever you want to update your web pages, and users can enter your website whenever they refer to your site address. If your hosting service is not uptime it can be catastrophic!

As an experienced webmaster I recommend BH web hosting which I’m sure it would work for you and fulfill all your requirements. They have a really great offer for hosting & I have used them for over 3 yrs now, and have never had a single problem with them.

You can reach reviews about this web hosting provider and its latest DISCOUNT COUPONS at:

Only $3.95 /month (with discount coupon)

    * This service was awarded the “Best Web Hosting OF The Year”.

    Hope this helps.

    hi arianna

look at http://webhosting-garage.com. Don’t think you need unlimited package for one WordPress site and small business. Something like economy package will be enough and you won’t have to pay for unlimited package =)

if you want unlimited package in any way look at this one http://goo.gl/XFiF

    Re: small business web hosting
Check out http://buywebspacetoday.com/ for good web hosts. By the way, all of them bundle Fantastico for free, so you can do a quick and easy install of WordPress right from your control panel — no need to download, transfer files, or set up the database and configurations yourself.

Re: unlimited disk space and bandwidth
Most websites never reach maximum bandwidth, so "unlimited" is true only based on perception. If your site becomes hugely popular, you might need to upgrade to a VPS or dedicated server. Don’t worry about it. When that time comes, you’ll have so many customers and so much revenue that hosting will seem like a negligible expense.

    Re: SpamGuard
SpamGuard is a spam filtering software for email. Note that different web hosts might use different software or even their own developed spam filters.

For that I’d recommend you a few reliable web hosting service providers like Fatcow or iPage. You may also search the exact type of web hosting you are looking for on http://www.webhostingchoice.com/. On this web site you can read reviews and also register a domain name or buy a web hosting plan. The site is very informative with reviews on web hosting providers.
