I am starting a web store , I already have a website and pay for the hosting and domain of the website so I am not looking for complete ecommerce solutions. I would like to have a powerful web store builder that allows full website integration. That way I can just copy the script and paste it into my pre existing website.

Other important features I need:

complete inventory control – I need to be able to enter the quantity of the product as I am listing and when people have purchased the total quantity , I need for the product to auto-hide to prevent people from buying an out of stock item.

High powered search and organization – I want people to be able to search products as well as browse through categories

Easy discount management – I am setting up a rewards program , so I want to be able to easily do coupon redeem codes and other similar features.

I need to at least be able to list up to 1000 products at a time , unlimited would be more ideal (although the prices of these packages are out of my budget as far as what I have found)

Customizable appearance of the store front so I can make it match my website.

These are the key features I am looking for , and I am of course looking for something that is affordable especially while first starting out. I am not looking to pay more than 200 USD a year at this time , I have found a few free ones but there are some features missing that are very important to me.

If muncom.com (which has full website integration and is unlimited product listing for free with ads)met with freewebstore.org (which has all the other features I need but no website integration plus costs 45 dollars a month for unlimited product listing) I would have the perfect web store builder for my new business venture.

Any ideas where to look for an online web store builder that meets my specific needs or if you know of one I would greatly appreciate your input.

I looked around and so far all the websites listing / reviewing web hosts seem to be either poorly constructed, in business with the hosts they advertise and not at all objective. So instead of crawling the net, i decided to ask peoples opinion.

Heres the deal: I’m a graphic designer / web designer and i generally know what the hell i’m doing. Right now i’m stuck with justhost, and i really do hate it pretty bad. I guess they base their features around it being "so easy a beginner could do it" but if you’re not interested in using their site builder, wordpress, or any of their other features, you basically have to work around all the clutter they left for you. I’m sick of all the little sh** thats out of place, like not being able to find the "config.inc.php" file for phpmyadmin, not being able to connect to my FTP accounts and then talking with a robot (yeah, a ROBOT) for an hour while he lists off FAQs i’ve already checked…

I’m thinking its probably just best to find a reliable web host with only the functionality i cant install myself for free. Hopefully one with decent customer service.

So maybe you could read through all the stuff i plan to do with my hosting service and then tell me any names that pop into your head:
I code all my sites in adobe dreamweaver and i’ve got a nifty little application called Transmit that lets me turn my ftp server into web attached storage so its as easy as drag and drop. I’m probably going to have some sort of IRC or instant messaging chat on my site and i’ll most likely find a third party plugin… That kind of coding is beyond my skill level. One of my sites in progress is a social networking site, and it uses jQuery, PHP, and mySQL to accomplish that at the moment. I need autoreply emailers and email forwarding at the least. I plan to add my own error pages so i need .htaccess. i need support for multiple domains, one for my portfolio and design website, and one for my social networking site. i might pursue an idea regarding adult entertainment, so if the host allows adult content that would be something to consider. My sites might gain a bit of traffic, so i need a host that will work WITH me instead of kicking me out on the curb or slapping on crazy fees when my traffic exceeds their limits. I dont like the idea of all my personal data a whois search away, so domain privacy would be nice. And SSL / merchant services would be nice too…

I am somewhat familiar with GO-DADDY and that’s about it! I purchase HOST-GATOR but its too complicated for me using CPANEL. Any suggestions or HELP! PLEASE!!

I am trying to find a good company to be a Website Host for a School Class Website. Are the intuit Websites easy to work as in designing and moving pictures and stuff around to get it just how you want it? is the pricing really .99/a month?a week? Can theses websites hold alot of photos, and selling catalogs? and normal school class stuff?

I am starting a hosting business that hides the user from the complexities of setting up the website backend and only providing a dedicated website builder only (based on swsoft sitebuilder)

services to include:
- domain and email setup for the user
- easy to use website builder
- full support of email and builder products
- targeted towards small/medium business that are not computer savvy
- website fully hosted

My question is, will a business like this likely generate sales enough to make the business profitable? Is the market way too saturated with businesses homestead, moonfruit, citymax, web hosters providing sitebuilders, and web designers?

Also, are there any additional services I can provide to bring in more revenue apart from custom webdesign, or banner/logo editing?

I want a good web hosting service. I want a website builder on this too. I need an FTP server. I also need a visual editor. I would like to have it require as little HTML as possible. I will be thrilled if none is required.
I’ve been using Bravenet. It’s alright. I had the premium service. It just wasn’t very easy to manage, and it had their application logos everywhere. I want no host logos whatsoever. I want to be able to get a cheap domain name with this service. I would like it free, but I’m willing to spend a little dough if necessary. Tried Bravenet, I want something somewhat similar. Ive done the whole website design via systems where you drag and drop what you want, or say what colours you want it etc etc – the easy building systems many hosts offer but i want to do it from scratch.
I want to develop a website – multiple pages with no easy-use builders etc – its not for business or required urgently but just for fun and to show i can do it.

my boyfriend wants to create a website, a football pool website. With just moderate computer skills, I can use some programs, but we don’t have a ton of money to spend on a site builder.
